Why We’re Different

Albert’s Meats adheres to the highest standard for quality. Unlike most of our competitors including most national brands, Albert’s Meats does not use poultry in our products, MSG is never used in the manufacturing of any Albert’s Meats brand products. Also all of the hams that we produce are lower in sodium and are fully cooked.

One-Of-A-Kind Sausage Products

Albert’s Meats Brand Sausage means fresh sausage , it is never previously frozen like all other national brands. Our Country and Italian sausage products are always made-to-order and we produce them at least 3 times every week to assure our customers the freshest sausage possible!

About Alberts MeatsHistory of Albert’s Meats

Albert’s Meats was founded by a German Immigrant, George Albert in 1924. With him, he brought the vision of creating only the freshest products with the best ingredients to make the most flavorful meats. Albert’s packing Company was a full line slaughterhouse and processed their own brand of fresh sausage, smoked hams, luncheon meats, kielbasa and franks. Currently, the Albert’s Meats Brand is processed and labeled by Green Valley Packing after purchasing the brand in 1976 by using the same formulas that George Albert used to create this trusted brand, for over 85 years. To this day Albert’s Meats are still being produced by the same family.

Our main processing facility, located in Claysville, PA maintains the highest standards to meet our promise of providing only the freshest meats with the highest quality. We ensure cleanliness, safety, and strict processing standards of our facility and train our employees to make these their priorities. USDA HAACP & ASI Food Safety Approved.

Brian P. Weiss

Brian P. Weiss has been with the company since 1984.  He manages the sales department and product development.

George Weiss, Sr.

George P. Weiss, Sr.

George P. Weiss has been the owner of Green Valley Packing since 1961. He acquired the Albert’s Brand from his uncle in 1976 and continued a tradition that his grandfather started back in 1924.

George Weiss, Jr.

George A. Weiss, Jr.

George A. Weiss has been with the company since 1982. He manages the production operation along with many other duties.
